It's often tedious - we know. And although we haven’t put anything untoward in these terms and policies, we do encourage you to read them carefully. At Carmel Simon Villa, we are honest, fair and reasonable. We expect and request our guests to show us the same courtesy. So, when you stay at Carmel Simon Villa, you hereby agree to the polices and terms mentioned below.
YOUR STAY

We reserve the right to ask you to leave respectfully if we - or any of our guests -are made to feel uncomfortable by your comments or actions.

Carmel Simon Villa is also our home. And certain areas are our personal living space. Please respect our privacy and enjoy yourself in the areas we have made available for guests.

We reserve the right to change our pricing structure at any time. Any changes to room pricing will be published on our website. When a reservation is made and confirmed by payment , the price of the booking will be the published price as at the time of the booking. Prices for stay are inclusive for the room and breakfast only.
ACCESS & SAFETY

We offer check-in between 13:00 hrs (1:00 pm) and 14:00 hrs (2:00pm) . And check-out is 10:00 hrs ( 10: 00 am ).

The 4 private rooms are located on the ground floor, the glass house on the first floor of a two storey building , the top floors are having high ceilings and provide cool temperature to the ground floor, there is proper ventilation. The round house villa is independently located in the premises.

Guests are required to provide Identity Card/Passport/Visa details at the time of Check -In & fill up registration form & guest register as required by the Law

There is no room service, house -keeping service provided only on request, there is no elevator, or restaurant on-site. Vegetarian or Non Vegetarian food can be prepared at home, on prior intimation for a reasonable cost.

We have a beautiful garden , and while you are welcome to indulge out there, please ensure you leave no trace of litter .

We offer free Wi-Fi and we ask that you please be fair with how you use this service. Please don’t continuously stream or download large files , not to engage in any illegal or illicit activities. We endeavour to maintain a reliable Wi-Fi service but cannot guarantee a consistent service and will not be liable for any consequential loss you may suffer in the event of an interruption to our Wi-Fi service

To this point, we are all law-abiding adults who take responsibility for our own actions.

All guest are required to follow current government guidance with regards to infection control of coronavirus.
PAYMENT

All bookings are confirmed against online payment.

Payments can be made with all major credit cards or by bank transfer, please call or email us, and we will be delighted to send you our details.

On receipt of payment you will receive our confirmation for your booking. Rates are on per room basis, for 2 people maximum occupancy and include Indian breakfast. Of course, you can settle your remaining balance for additional services / request at any time during your stay.
CANCELLATIONS

Please read the room description & cancellation policy carefully before booking online.

Any cancellation received within 14 day/s prior to arrival will incur 1 night's charge.

Cancellation received within 7 day/s prior to arrival will incur the full period charge.

Failure to arrive will be treated as a No-Show and no refund will be given.

If you send a request to amend and/or cancel a booking by reducing the length of your stay (after arrival) the full cost of your stay as initially booked will be charged.

Early Departures: Once you have checked in, the room is no longer available to rent therefore no refunds will be given.

It doesn’t happen often, but we do reserve the right to cancel your stay at Carmel Simon Villa when there are circumstances beyond our control. Force Majeure covers us as the supplier of services. If we are unable to perform the contract between you and us due to events beyond our control our obligations are suspended and we are excused from any liability to perform the contract.We will make every attempt to find you similar accommodation in Kottarakara. However, if this is not possible, or not your preference, we will offer a full refund of any payment you have made towards your stay. Our liability will not extend beyond this refund.This Force Majeure clause covers local, national and international events including Covid-19 and other pandemics. *Terms and Conditions apply

We recommend all our guests take out a comprehensive travel insurance policy that includes cover for unforeseen cancellation beyond any of our control
THEFT, DAMAGES & BREAKAGES

Accidents happen, and we don’t typically charge for minor breakages. We do however, ask that you tell us as soon as possible when something has been broken or damaged.

We reserve the right to ask for compensation up to and including the full value of the damages and loss of income on our part, especially - but not limited to - those situations where the room is uninhabitable as a result of the damage you have caused.
